The Grand Strand Run: A Myrtle Beach Golf Trip

Five Grand Strand courses from North Myrtle Beach to Pawleys Island.

Myrtle Beach is America's golf-vacation capital, with more than 80 courses in a narrow strip along the coast. This trail picks five standouts: Barefoot Dye, Dunes Golf & Beach Club, TPC Myrtle Beach, True Blue and Caledonia.

The Grand Strand is a buddy-trip favorite for good reason: competitive rates, a huge menu of courses, and plenty of seafood and nightlife. The trail runs south along Highway 17 for about 57 miles.

Dunes Golf & Beach Club is the area's classic Robert Trent Jones design. Caledonia and True Blue, at Pawleys Island, are the area's most scenic.
